The building is wired for wireless internet services, cable TV and phones. All doors are monitored for our Elder's safety. Parkview is conveniently located between two excellent medical facilities, including hospitals in Washington (10 miles) and Mt. Pleasant (17 miles) with the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics only 45 miles away.
Parkview has a modern kitchen that provides meals with made from scratch entrees and provides snacks to enjoy between meals. In season, fresh fruit and vegetables are served.
Potlucks, family carry ins, fish fry's, brunches, special meals and barbeques are scheduled throughout the year to provide especially enjoyable occasions. Other personal needs are taken care of through our in-house laundry, beauty shop, and Whirlpool bathing system.
Safety and peace of mind come first. All doors are monitored, and nurses are on duty 24 hours a day. Because Parkview is close to hospitals in Washington and Mt. Pleasant, specialist care is never far away, and weekly in-house physician visits mean many residents don't need to travel for routine visits.
