Parkview is a nonprofit, faith-based senior living community that has served Wayland since 1961. Because we are a nonprofit, we reinvest in our staff through training and benefits. Our team is small enough that the administrator and caregivers know every resident by name, and staff are treated as part of the Parkview family.

 

Positions at Parkview

Our team includes registered nurses (RN), licensed practical nurses (LPN) and certified nursing assistants (CNA), as well as dietary and food service, housekeeping, laundry, activities, social services, maintenance and business office staff. We hire for full-time, part-time and occasional positions on day (6-2), evening (2-10) and night (10-6) shifts.

 

What we look for

We look for people who are patient, dependable and kind, and who enjoy getting to know older adults. Licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants are always important to our team, but many roles in dietary, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance do not require a health care license. If you care about people and take pride in your work, we would like to hear from you.

 

Training and support

New team members receive training for their role, and as a nonprofit we reinvest in staff training and staff benefits. Working in a small home means you learn from experienced coworkers, see the results of your work every day and become part of a close team that celebrates birthdays, fish fries and holidays together with residents.

As required by law for health care employers, we check for criminal and abuse records, and a health screening such as a TB test is required after an offer of employment.
